Stoner Tip #5: The endocannabinoid system, not all weed is consumed equally.

The first time I heard about the endocannabinoid system, thought it was something stoners created along all the other break thru’s  and discoveries in cannabis. Come to find out, its been around for ages. The ECS is made up  of a group of receptors located in the mammalian parts of the brain as well as the nervous system. Since the system is found through out the body, it controls memory, disorders of the brain, muscular skeletal problems, Organs, Inflammation, hunger, and more.

Your body is creating cannabinoids right now, and is regulated to keep your system balanced. If your endocannabinoid system is not up to par, smoking a little weed at a time can help you enjoy the effects more and more each session. Also depends on how strong the herb is. Fun fact, the ECS a biological system that can be found in just about any living thing with vertebrae.

Who discovered it the EndoCannabinoid System

1964, a scientist from Israel named Raphael Mechoulam) is an Israeli organic chemist and professor of Medicinal Chemistry was able to identify and isolate THC for the first time – just prior to the identification of CBD’s as well.

The great thing about Cannabis is that it’s different strokes for different folks. Not all systems break down weed the same and terps that may appeal to one may not appeal to others. Reference online weed reviews but not take those as law. I suggest you create a log and get down how certain weed effects you.
